Secure Behavioral Health Transportation
MIBuddyRide, LLC is the secure passenger transport division of Battle Buddy Mobility Transport. We provide safe, dignified, hand-to-hand transportation for individuals in behavioral health crisis, including physician-ordered and court-ordered transports. Every trip is handled with a documented chain of custody from pick-up to drop-off, so hospitals, behavioral health facilities, and families know exactly who has the passenger at every step.
What We Do
Hand-to-Hand Chain of Custody
Every MIBuddyRide transport is a hand-to-hand service. The passenger is received from staff at the pick-up location and handed off to staff at the destination. No passenger is ever left waiting alone at either end of the trip.
Physician-Ordered and Court-Ordered Transports
We transport individuals under a doctor’s order, a court order, or a broker requirement. Common trips include hospital emergency department to inpatient behavioral health placement, facility-to-facility transfers, and transports to court-ordered evaluations or hearings.
Trained, Compassionate Transportation Specialists
Behavioral health transport is not a taxi ride. Our transportation specialists are certified in NEMTAC CTS/AMDS, CTAA PASS wheelchair securement, and American Heart Association CPR/First Aid. Many come from pre-hospital, hospital, and home healthcare backgrounds, and they treat every passenger with patience and respect.
Secure, Dignified Transport
Passengers ride in secure, driver-controlled vehicles, not in the back of a police car. Our goal on every trip is simple: get the passenger where they need to be safely, calmly, and with their dignity intact.

We partner with hospitals and emergency departments, inpatient behavioral health facilities, community mental health agencies, crisis centers, courts, and families all across the state of Michigan. Wherever the trip starts and wherever it needs to end, we will get your passenger there. As a division of an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, we bring the same standards and accountability to behavioral health transport that we bring to every ride.
